Why We Exist
Across India, millions of couples are trying to conceive. Most of them spend months, sometimes years, cycling through unsolicited advice, anxious silence, and inconclusive tests before being told their only remaining option is IVF. We did not believe that should be the only path.
Cosma was founded to build a third option: a clinically guided, at-home, non-hormonal way to give conception every fair chance — before couples are pushed into invasive, expensive, emotionally heavy procedures.
We built it the way we would want it built for our own families. With science. With Indian fertility specialists. With regulatory rigour. And with the dignity that this journey deserves.
What Cosma is
Cosma is a women's health and fertility company building science-led products and services for the Indian market. We design, manufacture and distribute non-hormonal fertility products, and we work with a national network of fertility specialists, diagnostic labs and partner clinics.
Our flagship product, Fertigen™, is a CDSCO-approved Class B medical device, designed by practicing fertility specialists. We also operate FertiLens™, our digital fertility assessment platform, and a growing network of partner diagnostic labs and fertility clinics.

Dr. Charu Sharma — Founder & CEO
Dr. Charu Sharma is a fertility-focused women's health entrepreneur and the founder of Cosma. She started Cosma with the conviction that India needed a serious, science-led category between unassisted conception and IVF — built specifically for the Indian woman, the Indian couple, and the Indian fertility specialist.
Under her leadership, Cosma has secured CDSCO approval for Fertigen, signed up over 1,000 patients, and built a network of 50+ fertility specialists across India.
